Copy the rules for this upload field

Look for the allowed image format, a maximum or minimum file size, and any required width and height in pixels. A filename rule may also matter. Copy the relevant text into FileFit's requirement field. Use the rules for the specific photo field, since another field on the same form can have different limits.

For example, ‘JPEG, maximum 50 KB, 200 x 230 pixels’ describes a JPEG with exact pixel dimensions and an upper file size limit. This is an illustrative example, not an official portal specification. Portal rules vary. FileFit interprets KB as 1,024 bytes; check any conflicting instructions before continuing.

Choose how your photo fits

Use contain to preserve the whole photo. If the required shape differs from the original, padding can appear around it. Crop fills the requested dimensions by trimming edges. Review the preview carefully, especially the top of the head, shoulders, and other details the form asks to keep visible.

Enlarging a small image can make fine details look soft. A higher-resolution original usually gives you more room to resize. Converting a transparent image to JPEG replaces transparency with a background, so inspect that change too.

Check the result before uploading

FileFit supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP inputs up to 40 MB and 40 megapixels. Image processing stays on your device. Download the prepared result and upload it yourself, then check the portal's response. Matching detected rules does not guarantee acceptance, since a portal can apply checks that are absent from its visible instructions.

Compression cannot always satisfy file size and dimension limits together. FileFit reports an unmet limit instead of promising an exact byte count. It does not add artificial bytes to reach a minimum size. Measurements in centimetres, millimetres, inches, or DPI require manual review and verified pixel requirements before continuing.
